Shalom family. With the formula shortage going on, I figured I could share my own formula recipe for any Mothers that need to use something other than Breastmilk. I understand there are some situations that happen where we could not breastfeed due to complications or some other issue. I was unable to with my 3rd child and she thrived on this formula I created. Please reach out if any questions.
This recipe is for one 6 oz bottle. You can also make one large batch (36 ounces). Just times the amounts by 6 to make 36 ounces which is what I did. If you going to make a large batch, mix it all in a pot on the stove(low heat) and use a whisk to blend ingredients well. Add your water first to pot and heat before adding in ingredients. When you finish, I recommend pouring into individual bottles and putting in fridge. Your going to find that the coconut oil will harden once cold so just need to heat it up as you would for any other baby. If you have any questions PLEASE let me know. May TMH bless you and keep his hand on your little one. This is the closest you can get to breastmilk.
1 scoop of Meyenberg goat milk powder- (scoop comes inside bag)
1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil
1/4 tsp virgin unrefined olive oil
1/8 tsp of unsulphered blackstrap molasses(this is for iron)Note: if you find baby poop is too RUNNY, do half of this, if poop is too HARD increase the amount.
I added in a daily dose of probiotic powder for newborns but you dont have to. It just helps digestion.- (Dont add this until it cools off or it will kill the probiotic)
1 Tablespoon of Grade B maple syrup(sugar/carb source for brain development).
