I Am Rich

Shalom family.

This evening as I was entering my apartment my neighbor was holding the door open for me. I noticed the person that went before me was complaining about something. The neighbor who held the door open complained about how he had to pay rent and now he was broke. He asked me how I was doing and I said I am rich. I did not give it a second thought. I have been laid off from work since March 19, 2020. I will be sixty-one this year and this is the longest that I have not worked. I thank the Creator that I can pay my rent. I drive a 1999 Ford Explorer. My neighbor gave me the strangest look I could tell he was trying to wrap his mind around what my response was. I refuse to curse what The Creator has blessed. To the world I have nothing. But to the Creator I am rich.
