EDT Basis for Calendar: - Farmers Almanac (to determine spring equinox 3/20/22) - Bible / Apocriphal / Secondary Book scriptures noted on each Feast Day event - Enoch Calendar (Basic notation as of December 2021 starting with new year of 3/20/22) Changes Based on Feedback: - Enoch Calendar more closely followed - Enoch Calendar denotes new year as the first day of spring (spring equinox) - Each month in Enoch calendar is 30 days long - Each month begins on a different day each month based on Enoch 30 day calendar (as shown now as events on the calendar) - Days of the week are different on Enoch calendar based on the 30 day schedule - Days are placed on the Gregorian / Modern World calendar to reflect today's dates, but they are in line with the days of the week of the Enoch calendar as best understood (with the exception of Sabbath days, which are agreed upon as being on Gregorian Saturdays - It still managed to work out that way) Sabbath Days: Sabbath Days will remain on Saturdays on the Gregorian Calendar. This is based on agreed upon time as one accord of our 6th day of the week. Also, this helps for planning around work weeks, duties, etc. as the days of the week will not fluctuate based on the Enoch month conversion to Gregorian calendar. Feast Days Adjustments: - Feast days adjusted to fall upon scriptural days, not necessarily Sabbath days. - If a feast day has a chronological day that falls on a weekday, it has been scheduled for that weekday, not necessarily the sabbath before or after. - Feast days based on Enoch calendar but only posted on Gregorian calendar to plan in modern times. No adjustment has been made to conform to Gregorian calendar. Notes on Addition of "Longest Day" and "31st Day" When using the Gregorian Calendar, March 14th & March 15th are considered as One Whole Day in the week ("Joshua's Longest Day.") The days in Enoch's time and in Joshua's time had 18 Parts or Moments per day, which is 18 hours per day. When the sun and moon stood still, it was for 36 Moments and this is equal to "Two Days in Time that Passed," that had occured in One Whole Day in the Week. This is how the Zadok Priests kept the 364 Day Calendar, by counting Two Days as only ONE WHOLE DAY in the Week. To compensate in conversion to Gregorian (24hr/day) Calendar, an even spanning 2 regular days to denoted the "Longest Day" were added, as well as a 31st Day at the end of the Hebrew Year.
Purification Days: Also, "Purification" days were added every 3-month season at the end of the seasons to adjust and reconcile between Enoch / Gregorian calendars.
Jasher 88:64 And the Lord hearkened to the voice of Joshua, and the sun stood still in the midst of the heavens, and it stood still SIX AND THIRTY MOMENTS, and the moon also stood still and hastened not to go down a whole day.
Joshua 10:13-14 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down a Whole Day. 14 And on the day before and after, we heard YHWH and voice of men: for YHWH fought for Israel.
Enoch 72:31-33 And on that day the sun rises from that portal, and sets in the west, and returns to the East, and rises in the Third Portal for One-And-Thirty Mornings, and sets in the west of the heaven. On That Day the NIGHT decreases and amounts to NINE PARTS, and the DAY to NINE PARTS, and the NIGHT IS EQUAL TO THE DAY AND THE YEAR IS EXACTLY AS TO ITS DAYS THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR.
Request for Change or Feedback: To request update or change to calendar, please submit update/change requests at least 30 days before the event in question. - This will allow for updates and for ministry or those planning events to adjust their plans easier. Last minute requests will be considered, but changes will not post until the following year’s event. This is done to avoid confusion and to make for more joyful Holy Day celebration / season. - Feedback (with scriptural context) is welcome, with prayerful and non-confrontational approach. Remember, we are making this out of love for The Most High and our ONOP Family, not to cause conflict in any way. Much Love, Much Shalom
Family, I will hold off on changing the Sabbaths on the calendar until I hear back from the leadership of ONOP ministry. The goal is not to cause division or any confusion. So I'll let you know if we make any changes once I hear from our Elders. Thanks.
Family, I have been in prayer about an issue with our current observance of the calendar. I know we are all used to having Saturdays as our Sabbath days. But this was earlier in our understanding of how to approach our year and feast days according to the Gregorian Calendar.
Upon further study of the Enochian calendar and the subsequent conversion to Gregorian calendar, however, it appears we should actually be celebrating our Shabbat on Tuesday.
This is due to the numbering of the days of the week on the Enoch calendar and the reconciliation of the first day, Longest Day and Purification days' and the Vernal (Spring) equinox each year.
I am asking if it would cause too much confusion to change our sabbaths to Tuesday on the calendar, officially?
I'll see if I can make a poll....
Thank you. We will take a look.
All praise, glory and honor to The Most High, Ahayah!
