OUR CAPTIVITY IS almost OVER THANK YOU ABBA FATHER

EXODUS 4:21 And the Lord said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go. 22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: Book of the Wars of the Lord The Peacemaker When Moses went to pharaoh with this request, “Let My son go, so he may worship Me,”9 God did not send Moses with a large and mighty army, but only with his older brother… an eighty year old man with an even older man with a wooden stick. That does not present to anyone the message of a God out to avenge for the maltreatment of His son, for the Lord said, “Israel is My firstborn son,”10 does it? Indeed, the use of Moses and Aaron shows the very nature of the gentle and humble God… two old men, one with a speech impediment and a wooden stick. I remind the reader again… His enemies have a habit of underestimating Him because He is humble and gentle at heart, and He is the Prince of Peace, no, the King of Peace, who prefers to avoid the war by giving a peace offering. All God told Moses to say was, “Let My son go, so he may worship Me.” There were no threats, there were no accusations of maltreatment, nor were the sins of Egypt’s ingratitude brought up… just simply, “Let My son go, so he may worship Me.” You see how we fail to listen, really listen. “Let My son go…” but was God greeted with repentance from pharaoh, the beneficiary of God’s kindness to his forefathers through Joseph? No, just proud and haughty words… “Who is the Lord that I should obey Him and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord and I will not let Israel go.”11 So God devastated Egypt with twelve miracles. THE SPIRIT PREVAILS No. 174. . BEHOLD, I say unto you my son, I know what those things are which you want. andyou shall have them. 2. You consider that I dealt with my servant Moses in a more satisfactory manner than I have done with you; that so sure as I made apromiseto him, I fulfilledit. You say that when I told him time after time to tell Pharaoh that I would bring plagues upon Egypt, I fulfilled my word ; that when I threatened to bring acertainplagueupon Egypt on the morrow, I did so; and that according to my word, I brought different plagues upon Egypt until I compelled Pharaoh to let my people go; that I not only fulfilled all the promises which I made through him in Egypt, but that I continued to do so as long as he lived upon the earth; that when he smote the rock, the water gushed out; that when he waved his rod over the Red Sea, the waters divided; and that whenever he made a promise to the Children of Israel, that promise I fulfilled. VS 5 You would like to know how I intend to work with you for the future. I will answer you this question. I shall work with you in as plain and satisfactory a manner after I shall have given unto you your rod, as I did with Moses when he brought all those plagues upon Egypt. Your word will not fail any more inthe future than his did in the past. Ishallnot strain your mind atall after I shall have endowedyou with the power of your office. I shall then talk with you as one man talks with another. Your days of affliction are now past. 6. Iwantyouto unite my people as I have commanded you, and I promise you that, when you shallhavedone so, you will soon see me; for I will not remain away from you one hour after 7. you are ready for me to come unto you. Ido not wanttoremain away from you anylonger than I canhelp, for I am now in pain in consequence of having to wait for my people; therefore, my son, let your heart be comforted, for I am with you. I sent a holy angel, who is in authority, unto you to talk with you, and to comfort you. I have done all that I possibly could to uphold you until I can come unto you myself to place all power in your hands. Afterthat, you will never againfeel your weakness as you have hitherto done. Your own weakness has greatly afflictedyou. Youknowwhat I am now waiting for; therefore, strive to bring mypeople to order, and to a unity of faith. That is all I require at your hands. You can do this in one day after you commence ; for you have great influence with them. They have all confidence in you. You can very easily, by one day's instructions, bring them to aproper state of mind to meet me; and Iwill not hold myself from you after you are ready for me.
