The Book of Mormon (Plates of Nephi) is not talking about black being a curse. It was referring to a covering from the laws of God. It was talking about understanding between Light and Dark. It was the beginning of your own people becoming your enemy. Even the Bible talks about being in darkness or not coming to the knowledge of God. God is taking away their customs by cursing their understanding because they became wicked on the land that they were given to. They were their own worse enemy and no other nations were around about. So let us find out why this is one of the few main verses that people use to avoid the book if you just take your time to break it down.
