The Empire Pays Back, first aired in 2005, estimated that Britain would have to pay a whopping £7.5 trillion in reparations, for its part in the transatlantic slave trade and slavery.

Many things we know better nowadays...this is still a very good documentary to watch because the presenter consulted an economic historian, a compensation lawyer and an expert on loss of earnings.
