This book is important because it shows that they took some of our ancestors to Africa, many of us know that by now for they did the same with our ancestors in Europe especially Spain and Portugal sent many of our ancestors to Africa, Our ancestors didn't choose to go to Africa because as we already know they were living in the best lands. And they knew their history as well.

Jub.9:14 And thus the sons of Noah divided unto their sons in the presence of Noah their father, and he bound them all by an oath, imprecating a curse on every one that sought to seize the portion which had not fallen (to him) by his lot.
