The explanation and scriptural references of the Ensign and Banner of Zion: 1. The eagle represents: The one mighty and strong who is the choice Seer or the Ensign. Revelation 5: 5; Revelation 12: 4-11, Revelation 19: 11-16, Isaiah 42: 1-7, Isaiah 52:13-15, Isaiah 66: 2-5, Isaiah 11: 10, Isaiah 28: 1-2, Ezekiel 37:24-25, Daniel 12: 1-4, Psalms 24: 6-10. 2. The two wings of the eagle represent: The power of the Ensign that brings the Body of Jesus Christ into the wilderness to be nourished and will bring forth Zion out of the wilderness. Revelation 12: 13-14, Revelation chapters 2 & 3, Malachi 3: 16-18. 3. The eagle's eyes represent: The choice Seer, to bring forth the hidden knowledge of the scriptures in these the last days. Revelation chapters 5 & 6, Revelation 10: 1-4, Ezekiel 37: 16-20. 4. The book in the eagle’s mouth represents: The hidden knowledge coming forth, which is The Book of Israel and the Laws of Zion. Revelation 7, Revelation 14: 1-5, Ezekiel 37: 15-22. 5. The bushel of wheat in the eagle’s right talon represents: The restitution of the one hundred forty and four thousand and all the elect from the four corners of the earth. Ezekiel 37: 1-12, Acts 3: 21-26, Daniel 12: 1-4, Isaiah 51: 9-23, Joel chapters 2 & 3. 6. The olive branch in the eagle’s left talon represents: The twelve tribes of Israel and peace to the entire world. Revelation 12: 14, Isaiah 35, Isaiah 52: 7-8, Luke 2: 13-14. 7. The mountains represent: The Body of Jesus Christ in the wilderness. Micah 4: 9-11. 8. The eagle in front of the mountains represents: Zion coming out of the wilderness. The twelve white stars represent: The twelve tribes of Israel, one hundred forty and four thousand, these are all the elect of God. John 3: 5, Ezekiel 37: 1-14, Revelation 18: 1-12. 12. The blue stripes going forth from the eternal ring of Prophets represent: The elect being gathered and sealed unto the Prophets, which is done by entering the waters of baptism. The color blue represents: water; the twelve blue stripes represents: The house of Israel. St. John 3: 5, Revelation 7: 3&4, St. John 1: 31&32, Acts 2: 38, Romans 6: 3-5. 13. The white stripes going forth from the eternal ring of Prophets, represents: those that remain true, by taking the power of the spirit of the Holy Messiahs to be their guide. Always giving heed to the words of the Prophets and becoming virtuous in heart. The color white represents: Zion or virtuous in heart; the twelve white stripes represents: The house of Israel becoming Zion.
